Mike's Meadow Muffins December 13th, 2010
Across the River from Our House...
A ten mile string of Christmas lights,
made a marvellous, festive, scene,
all blinking, red and orange,
although, I did not see any green.
There was the odd one flashing blue,
just for contrast I suppose,
it all began just after eight,
when it ended, Heaven knows.
I watched 'till almost midnight,
before I decided to turn in,
that's the brighter side of freezing rain,
Highway Five was closed again!
