A Classic Political Joke?
Will Rogers, once claimed,
he never wrote political jokes'
he just gathered up the facts,
and passed them on to folks.
The guy who tried to sell the Coquihalla,
was on TV last night,
said if we would trust him one more time,
he'd try to make things right.
I've heard enough about the HST
and railway sales gone wrong,
so I turned off the TV
and tried to write a song.
Once he sold our railroad,
'cause he couldn't make it run,
once he sold a railroad,
and now he's just a bum.
